Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Lead, to drive end-to-end business and functional requirement management for technology-driven initiatives across the fintech

and banking domains. This role is pivotal in translating business needs into detailed, structured documentationincluding Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and Detailed Requirement Gathering Documents (DRG)that guide product design and development.

The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the Product, Business, and technology teams, ensuring all requirements are clearly defined, reviewed, and signed off by relevant stakeholders (Risk, Finance, Legal, Business, CS or any other) before development begins.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and Detailed Requirement Gathering Documents (DRG) with process flowcharts, data mappings, and user journey diagrams.
• Ensure alignment of all requirements through structured stakeholder reviews and sign-off processes across Product, Business, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
• Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility of requirements throughout the SDLC.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios, validating results, and ensuring requirements traceability.
• Maintain version control and documentation hygiene for all requirement artifacts and related approvals.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation within the requirements management framework.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Proven experience in business and systems analysis, preferably within fintech or banking environments.

Expertise in requirement documentation (BRD, FRD, PRD, DRG, SRS) and flowcharting tools (Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Draw.io, etc.).-

- Strong ability to convert business concepts into structured, detailed specifications for technology teams.-

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills across

cross-functional teams.-

Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and UAT processes.

- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and visualization tools like Power BI (preferred).

-- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, structure, and clarity in documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred.

10–15 years of experience in business analysis or product requirement management within technology-led organizations.

Professional certifications such as Agile / Scrum / ITIL / CBAP / PMI-PBA will be an added advantage
