Job Description

As a Business Analyst, your role will involve analyzing business processes and workflows to identify gaps, improvements, and automation opportunities. You will be responsible for conducting structured requirement workshops with business stakeholders and documenting BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Your ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and system design inputs will be crucial in ensuring that solutions meet business expectations. Additionally, you will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to facilitate smooth communication and delivery between business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business processes and workflows to identify gaps, improvements, and automation opportunities. - Conduct structured requirement workshops with business stakeholders and document BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Translate business needs into technical specifications and system design inputs. - Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations. - Support production issues through SQL-based troubleshooting and impact analysis. - Develop and maintain process flows, requirement documents, and user guides. - Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams for smooth communication and delivery. Qualifications Required: - Must have strong proficiency in business analysis with an understanding of business processes and the ability to map workflows and identify improvements. - Must have experience in conducting requirement workshops, writing user stories & acceptance criteria, and converting business inputs into structured requirements. - Must have the ability to translate business needs into technical specs, understand systems, integrations, APIs, and have a strong grasp of functional design. - Must be proficient in hands-on SQL, able to validate and troubleshoot data issues, and support root-cause analysis. - Must have experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ADO. - Good to have knowledge of BPMN / Process Modeling, API & Integration Understanding, and experience in the FinTech / Financial Services domain. - Must possess soft skills such as problem-solving & analytical thinking, collaboration & communication, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
