Role Overview:

Business Analyst / Implementation Analyst

The candidate will work closely with product managers, senior BAs, and development teams to translate client requirements into clear functional deliverables while learning the end-to-end processes of digital banking products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Support & Documentation:

  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements under the guidance of senior BAs or product owners.
  • Contribute to the preparation of

    BRDs, FSDs, and User Stories

    based on discussions with stakeholders.
  • Client Engagement:

  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs to capture inputs and clarify queries.
  • Support senior team members in conducting UAT, triaging issues, and ensuring smooth communication between client and internal teams.
  • Implementation & Product Understanding:

  • Work on product configuration and implementation activities, especially within

    Core Banking or Payments

    modules.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to

    Finacle

    or other core banking platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate interpretation of functional requirements.
  • Assist in issue analysis and provide business context during defect resolution.
  • Learning & Domain Development:

  • Build foundational knowledge of

    Core Banking Systems

    , including

    Deposits, Payments, Virtual Accounts, Lending, and Billing.

  • Stay updated with fintech and regulatory trends relevant to product areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    24 years of experience in

    software implementation, client engagement, or business analysis

    , preferably in

    banking or financial services.

  • Communication:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client interactions.
  • Analytical & Documentation Skills:

    Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into structured documentation.
  • Technical & Process Tools:

    Basic familiarity with

    Agile processes

    and tools like

    JIRA, Confluence

    ; working knowledge of

    BRDs/FSDs/User Stories

    is desirable.
  • Domain Knowledge:

    Exposure to

    Core Banking Systems

    (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Intellect, Oracle Flexcube) is an advantage; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in

    Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

  • Preferred Attributes:

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new products and domains.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
