Job Description

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst in the Program Office/Program Operations Team, your main responsibility will be to develop data & analytics solutions using vast datasets gathered by Operational Applications to support the Technology Division and broader enterprise. Your challenge will involve creating high-performance algorithms, cutting-edge analytical techniques, and intuitive workflows to help users derive insights from big data for driving their businesses forward. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your knowledge in data engineering, specifically focusing on ETL architecture and data modeling. - Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure clean and accessible data for analysis. - Demonstrate proficiency in performance tuning across databases, ETL jobs, and SQL scripts. - Display your skills in enterprise metrics/monitoring using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Domo, SMSS, and other BI-related tools. - Apply a data-driven analytical mindset with a track record of problem-solving. - Utilize Agile methodologies in your work. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management. - Handle triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to prevent and reduce consumer downtime. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Additional Details: As part of your role at Mastercard, you will be expected to adhere to the company's corporate security responsibilities. This includes abiding by security policies and practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, reporting any suspected information security violations or breaches, and completing all periodic mandatory security trainings as per Mastercard's guidelines.
