Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Internal Process Automation to drive automation initiatives across internal business processes, spanning HR, Finance, Customer Support, and Operations. The role involves working closely with department leaders, developers, and project managers to analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, and deliver functional designs leveraging Microsoft PowerApps and Python-based platforms. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of business workflows and data flows with an eye for detail in capturing requirements and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Automation

• Analyze current departmental workflows to identify automation opportunities.

• Document as-is and to-be process flows, data mappings, and decision logic.

• Translate business needs into BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Define KPIs and success metrics for automation projects.

Platform-Centric Solutioning

• Collaborate with development teams using Microsoft PowerApps and Python automation tools.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and UI flow diagrams for internal apps (using Balsamiq/Figma).

• Design data transformation logic to support workflow automation.

• Assess PowerApps and Python capabilities/limitations to recommend viable solutions.

Project Management & Execution

• Partner with developers, testers, and stakeholders to manage delivery timelines and priorities.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies sprint planning, standups, retrospectives.

• Maintain project plans, issue trackers, and documentation for visibility.

• Support UAT, end-user training, and post-deployment adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 6+ years of business analysis experience, preferably with a focus on internal process automation.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps) and Python automation scripts.

• Proficiency in process mapping, data transformation, and workflow design.

• Working knowledge of tools: Lucidchart, Figma, Excel, SQL, Jira, Confluence.

• Strong conceptual understanding of software systems, data flows, and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, Flask/FastAPI, or Python integrations.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and database design.

• Certifications in Business Analysis, Scrum, or Microsoft Power Platform.
