Job Summary:

The Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for enabling insights-driven decision-making, optimizing operational processes, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The role involves managing analytical projects, ensuring data accuracy, adopting new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic:

  • Enable insights-driven strategic decision-making and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analytics and techniques.
  • Organize and manage data insight initiatives, ensuring timely completion through effective collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of analytical initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement precise management plans with transparent communication at all levels.

Operational:

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data deliverables through defined policies and processes.
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, engineering, and visualization.
  • Analyze and report results of analytical initiatives to leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and operations teams.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and develop analyst-level employees to build a strong data-driven culture.

Technology Adoption:

  • Lead digital and technological adoption initiatives across functions.
  • Drive and enable digital transformation to improve business efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and project teams.
  • Support adoption of technologies to enhance customer lifecycle understanding, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify themes, resolve issues, and ensure benefits realization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in Business Operations Management.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in creating process documentation and analytical reports.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement impactful analytical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Diploma/Certification in Data Science or Business Analysis preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics and systems development, preferably in the retail industry.
