Business Analyst

You will be responsible for leading the team and workflow in the supported business area. As a Business Analyst, you are expected to stay current with technological trends and advances, while understanding business dynamics and delivering in-depth analysis of Purchase, Sales, and Inventory management functions. Your role will involve serving as a resource on departmental projects, prioritizing business and information needs, and acting as a liaison between the client and systems communities. Your strong analytical abilities and well-rounded perspective of client systems and the corporate environment will be key in ensuring effective responses to ad hoc requests for reporting and analysis on Inventory, Purchases, Sales, and Imports related functions. You will proactively identify issues and changes, adapt reports and analysis accordingly, interpret data using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvement opportunities, develop data collection systems, and implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality. To excel in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, advanced knowledge of MS Excel tools for reporting and analysis, technical expertise in data models and database design, experience with data mining and segmentation techniques, and knowledge of statistics and statistical packages for analyzing large datasets. Ideally, you should have 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst and hold a B.E/MCA degree.
