From our earliest days as a pioneer of modern transportation, we have sought to make the world a better place one that benefits lives, communities and the planet Job Title: Business Analysis/Reengineering Practitioner Location: Chennai Duration: 12 Months Work Type: Onsite Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in the Auto/Commercial Auto Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAAS platforms and experience working in the insurance industry. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying and recommending solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes. Roles And Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements related to Auto/Commercial Auto Insurance domain and recommend solutions to meet business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements and ensure solutions are aligned with overall business strategy. Participate in requirements gathering, design, and testing phases of the software development life cycle. Develop detailed business requirements documentation, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and focus groups to gather requirements and feedback. Facilitate discussions with business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and ensure that solutions are feasible. Work with development teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. Assist in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business and technical requirements. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to optimize workflows. Skills Required: Business Analysis Experience Required: Bachelor's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience A minimum of 5 years of experience working in Property and Casualty (P&C) personal lines, commercial lines or specialty lines. Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise teams through all project lifecycle phases, including requirements definition, application mapping, technical design, application development, and testing. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, and business writing coupled with a strong interest in further designing, developing and integrating business operations and technology. Ability to research business inquiries, emerging issues, property and casualty insurance industry practices, and new application technologies. In addition, successful candidates should also have experience in one or more of these areas: Good Knowledge of Policy administration Claims management Customer billing Agency/Customer Portal Data and Reporting Good Knowledge of Insurance packaged software (Origami, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, EIS, etc.) and workflow. Experience in leading requirements elicitation sessions, product demos Experience in documenting business requirements Experience in quality management reviews of design, prototypes, and other requirements work products. Experience in translating business requirements and use cases into test conditions. Experience in Jira and SAFe Agile is a plus. Understanding of GCP services, API interfaces, and interaction, CICD pipeline is preferred. Knowledge of User interface tools like AEM is preferred. Certifications preferred: Associate in Insurance (AINS) and Certified business analyst( CBAP) , Charted property and casualty underwriter(CPCU), Associate in claims(AIC), Associate in Underwriting Experience Preferred: Experience working in Agile methodology and running the scrum ceremonies, building the backlog, conducting sprint planning sessions Understanding of GCP services, API interfaces, and interaction, CICD pipeline is preferred. Knowledge of User interface tools like AEM is preferred.
