Job Title: Building Cleaning Staff / Janitorial Worker Location: Japan (various cities depending on employer) Job Type: Full-time Industry: Building Maintenance / Facility Management Job Responsibilities: Daily cleaning and maintenance of commercial buildings, offices, hotels, hospitals, or shopping malls Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Cleaning windows, doors, and glass partitions Restroom cleaning and sanitization Garbage collection and waste segregation Dusting furniture and fixtures Disinfecting high-touch surfaces Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards Use of cleaning tools, machines, and chemicals properly and safely Requirements: No prior experience required (training will be provided) Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices Physical fitness to perform manual tasks Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays Basic Japanese language skills (N4–N5 level preferred) Valid work visa (e.g., Specified Skilled Worker Type 1 in Building Cleaning) Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles Technical Intern Training certificate (for returnees) Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certificate Benefits: Competitive salary (¥150,000–¥200,000/month depending on location and employer) Overtime pay as per Japanese labor law Company accommodation or housing allowance Transportation allowance Social insurance and health benefits Opportunity to extend contract or shift to long-term employment
