Description
A minimum of 12 years of experience in Software Engineering as well as Build and Release Automation process or in a similar role Responsibilities : Architect and Design Build Automation Process: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC solutions (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to provision and manage build and deployment environments. Build System Optimization: Optimize build processes for speed, reliability, and securit Automation: Identify and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Security: Implement security best practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline. Artifact Management: Manage and maintain artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory). Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior build and release engineers. Required Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in build and release engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Bash, Groovy). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, TFS). Experience with artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory). Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
