Job Description

As the Head of Department for Nepal Operations at our company, your role will involve overseeing the overall business operations in the Nepal market from Ahmedabad. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, sales and marketing leadership, distribution management, and team development. Your main goal will be to drive business growth, achieve revenue targets, expand the market, and ensure smooth coordination between the Head Office, Nepal operations, and channel partners. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic & Business Leadership: - Develop annual business plans in alignment with company objectives. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and P&L for the Nepal market. - Implement strategic initiatives to drive growth, enhance the brand, and develop the market. - Sales & Business Development: - Identify market opportunities and lead the sales team to achieve targets. - Monitor competition and devise effective counter-strategies. - Cultivate strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, and channel partners. - Marketing & Product Promotion: - Plan and execute marketing activities, product launches, CMEs, seminars, and promotions. - Increase brand visibility and ensure strong product positioning in the market. - Distribution & Supply Chain: - Appoint and manage CSA, distributors, and stockists in Nepal. - Ensure efficient stock flow from the Head Office to CFA and distributors. - Monitor inventory, primary/secondary sales, and territory coverage. - Team Management: - Lead, train, and motivate the sales and marketing team. - Recruit new team members and enhance field productivity. - Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance. - Operational Excellence: - Analyze underperforming territories and implement corrective plans. - Address customer issues promptly and maintain service standards. - Ensure accurate expense reporting and adherence to company processes. Required Skills: - Strong leadership and team-handling capabilities. - Expertise in sales, marketing, and business development. - Knowledge of channel and distribution management. - Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Qualification & Experience: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Science, Pharmacy, Business, or related field. - Minimum 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Previous experience in the Nepal market is preferred.
