Broadcast Assistant

• Administrative and logistical support: Type and distribute scripts and schedules. Take notes during meetings. Book studios, equipment, and technical crews. Manage program logs and running orders. Keep track of costs and inventory. Content and production support: Research topics and potential guests. Contact and prepare guests for their on-air appearance. Assist with editing and preparing files for broadcast. Technical and on-air support: Operate studio equipment during live broadcasts. Ensure studio sets and lighting are properly set up. Connect guests to the studio and manage technical cues. Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Communication and guest management: Act as a point of contact for guests and answer phone calls. Arrange and send out competition prizes. Digital and post-production: Update station websites, blogs, or social media. Archive program material. Assemble and produce edited audio for editors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Familiarity with broadcast technology is a plus. Basic computer and digital media skills
