Bridge Design Engineer

As a Structural Engineer at our company, you will play a vital role in the execution of assigned tasks as part of a collaborative team. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Creating software analysis models necessary for design - Performing detailed designs using tools such as MS Excel or specialized software - Actively engaging with team members to address daily challenges - Sharing input sketches with the drafting team for further development - Collaborating closely with the drafting team throughout the drawing preparation process - Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Indian standards and their relevance - Keeping abreast of updates in codal amendments and relevant literature - Conducting detailed design calculations for various bridge components following IRC codes or other international standards - Reviewing contractual documents thoroughly to grasp client requirements - Evaluating multiple proposals to identify the most effective solutions - Generating comprehensive reports in line with company standards for submission - Conducting meticulous checks on drawings to verify alignment with design documents and accuracy - Providing technical assistance to the construction site during project execution - Developing customized excel sheets (mini software) to support team members in similar designs Qualifications required for this role include: - B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute (minimum requirement) - M. Tech in Structural Engineering from a reputed institute (preferred) - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with VBA coding - Experience with software tools such as STAAD Pro and SOFiSTiK or MIDAS Please note that the salary for this position will be determined based on your assessment and management's discretion.
