The General Manager in Road Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing all aspects of road construction projects, including attending meetings with relevant authorities such as the Various Metro Departments like UPMRC/DMRC/MPMRCL engaging with local communities, and ensuring daily regulatory compliance at project sites. They provide strategic direction, leadership, and coordination to ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities 1. Stakeholder Engagement Represent the company in meetings with Various Metro Departments like UPMRC/DMRC/MPMRCL, government officials, and other regulatory bodies to discuss project progress, approvals, and compliance issues. Foster positive relationships with local communities, addressing concerns, and ensuring community engagement throughout the project lifecycle. Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, resolving conflicts and promoting cooperation. 2. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and licenses at project sites, including environmental regulations, safety standards, and labor laws. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and mitigate risks. 3. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across project sites, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and best practices. Investigate and report on safety incidents, implementing preventive measures to improve workplace safety. 7. Performance Monitoring and Coordination: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance, productivity, and quality. Prepare regular progress reports, performance dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master s degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in Metro projects, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. Strong knowledge of road construction techniques, regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. The QS Billing and Planning Head in Road Highway Infrastructure is a senior leadership role responsible for managing quantity surveying, billing, planning, and adherence to IS codes (Indian Standards) for structures in road construction projects. With extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of IS codes and project management, they oversee cost estimation, billing, procurement, planning, and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities 1. Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation Lead the quantity surveying team in preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for road highway infrastructure projects. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements to determine material quantities, labor costs, and equipment requirements. Ensure compliance with IS codes and other relevant standards in quantity surveying and cost estimation processes. 2. Billing and Contract Management Oversee billing processes, including milestone billing, interim payments, and final account settlements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Review contracts, variations, and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and IS codes.
