We are looking for a skilled and experienced Breakwater Construction Expert

coastal and marine engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Construction

  of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of

  rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters

  to ensure protection of port infrastructure.

• Project Management

  : Oversee

  port expansion projects

  , ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

• Coastal & Marine Engineering

  : Apply expertise in

  hydrodynamics

  ,

  coastal erosion

  , and

  sediment transport

  to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.

• Collaboration with Stakeholders

  : Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project’s smooth execution and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Safety & Environmental Compliance

  : Ensure strict adherence to

  HSE guidelines

  and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 10+ years

  of experience in

  breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects

  .
• Expertise in

  designing and implementing breakwater systems

  , including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
• Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.

• Strong problem-solving

  skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E. (Civil Engineering)

  or equivalent.

• Coastal Engineering Certification

  (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience working in the

  Kerala region

  or on

  Indian port development projects
