Role Summary

As a Broker Qualified Person (BQP), you will act as a certified insurance advisor responsible for pitching insurance products, acquiring clients, and ensuring end-to-end support throughout the insurance life cycle. The role requires strong communication, consultative selling, and a solid understanding of insurance products. (Certification can be completed post-selection.)

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and pitch Life & General Insurance products to individual and corporate clients.
• Understand client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
• Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups to convert leads into long-term clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams for policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Record all client interactions, queries, and conversions using CRM tools.
• Educate clients on policy features, claim process, and value-added services.
• Participate in sales meetings, reviews, and training sessions.
• Support the Insured in their Claim Service support and claim Settlement

Qualifications

• MBA / BBA in Marketing preferred
• Graduates from any stream with strong interest in sales may apply
• IRDAI BQP certification (can be completed after joining)

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Confident in pitching financial/insurance products
• Basic understanding of the insurance sector (training will be provided)
• Target-driven, self-motivated, and proactive
• Strong follow-up & customer relationship management skills
• Good MS Office & CRM tool knowledge
