BOQ Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous BOQ Engineer to handle quantity estimation, cost control, and bill preparation for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate measurement, cost estimation, and documentation for smooth project execution and billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to extract quantities.
• Verify and cross-check measurements and calculations on site.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Architects for clarifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for new projects and variation works.
• Assist in tendering processes by providing accurate quantities and costing.
• Maintain proper records of material consumption and site measurements.
• Ensure all billing and payment documentation is accurate for clients, contractors, and internal audits.
• Track project progress and update BOQs accordingly.
• Provide support in rate analysis and cost control activities.
