Book Designer

As a Book Designer at Zebra Learn, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of our publications. You are expected to possess a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a dedication to upholding top-notch design standards. Your primary responsibility will be to transform written content into visually appealing books that resonate with the target audience and reflect the core essence of the material. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with authors, editors, and various teams to align on the overarching goal and vision of each publication project. By creating multiple design iterations and experimenting with editorial layouts, you will enhance the readability, comprehension, and aesthetic appeal of the final product. A solid grasp of typography, color theory, and product visual identity is essential for success in this position. Participation in collaborative brainstorming sessions to foster innovative design concepts is encouraged. Efficient project management skills are crucial to juggle multiple design projects while meeting established timelines and maintaining the high design quality standards set by the organization. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in editorial design, visual design, and information design. Your ability to translate complex subjects into visually engaging designs through research, layout creation, and other design elements will be vital. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is a prerequisite, with knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop considered advantageous. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, particularly on editorial or print media projects. A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Print Design, Communication Design, or a related field is required. Creativity, originality, a keen eye for visual aesthetics, and research abilities are qualities that will set you apart in this role. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
