Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Must have class-1 or Class 2 boiler attendant certificate.
Operate and monitor boilers and other associated equipment (feed water pump, APH, Economiser, ID Fan, PA Fan, safety system) to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Hand on experience on handling briquette fired, Oil fired industrial boiler.
He should be able to perform incoming fuel analysis i.e. Moisture check, GCV check, ash content checks etc.
He should be able to perform inspection of all safety devices i.e. Mobrey switch, High pressure cut off, low water level, fusible plug etc.
Perform daily checks on boiler water levels, fuel supply, chemical dosing, and feed water quality.
