Boiler Operator

You will be joining our team in the Coir industry as an experienced Boiler Operator. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our steam and hot water boiler systems. Operating and overseeing boiler equipment will be your main responsibility, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while following safety regulations and company policies. Monitoring boiler pressure gauges, water levels, and temperatures, and making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance will be part of your daily tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, an understanding of operational efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include operating and monitoring boiler systems, conducting routine inspections and maintenance on boilers and auxiliary equipment, adjusting controls to regulate steam pressure and water levels, and maintaining accurate logs and records of boiler operations and maintenance activities. You will also need to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations, troubleshoot issues with boiler performance, and collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades to systems. To qualify for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certification or training in boiler operation preferred. Proven experience as a boiler operator or in a similar role in the machinery industry is required. Strong mechanical and technical skills, along with an understanding of boiler systems and components, are essential. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in boiler operation, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary.
