Roles of BMS Operator

• Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS).
• Ensure smooth functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & security systems.
• Act as first responder to alarms and system faults.
• Support facility and maintenance teams with system data.
• Optimize energy usage and system efficiency.

Responsibilities of BMS Operator

• Monitor building systems through BMS software.
• Respond immediately to alarms and take corrective action.
• Adjust set points, schedules, and parameters as required.
• Record daily logs of alarms, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and troubleshooting.
• Track and analyze energy consumption.
• Suggest energy-saving measures and system improvements.
• Generate system performance and incident reports.
• Maintain system documentation and update databases.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building standards.
• Monitor fire safety and emergency systems.
• Escalate critical alarms/issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system upgrades.
• Provide technical support to facility management team.

Skills required:

1. The basic engineering knowledge

2. Able to work in field & site with adaptability.

3. Able to understand the DDC panel wiring, GA drawing. etc.

4. Knowledge MS- Office (excel, word, .. etc.)

5. Good English knowledge & communication skill
