Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement BMS applications to optimize building performance.
- Conduct system integration with various MEP systems for seamless operations.
- Develop technical documentation, including system specifications and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Perform routine system maintenance and software upgrades.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their automation needs and requirements.
- Lead projects from initial conception through to final execution.
- Conduct energy audits and analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
- Provide training and support for end-users and maintenance staff.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and work as a team Diagnose and repair Extra Low Voltage system, building equipment to be ready to use at all time.
- Monitors, coordinates and evaluates the performance of the contractors and sub-contractors.
- Respect and follow the company's rules and regulations strictly.
- Inspects and perform maintenance for the Extra Low Voltage systems monthly.
- Co-ordination and scheduling activities for the Extra Low Voltage (ELV) technicians on Preventative Maintenance work to complete on time.
- Periodically, the employee may be expected to perform assigned duties and tasks not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other departments when necessary.
 
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMS design and implementation.
- Proficient in programming languages used in BMS (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, KNX).
- Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
- Experience with building automation software and hardware.
- Solid background in electrical systems and circuit design.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Project management certification is a plus (PMP or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project support.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in building systems.
- Master's degree in a related field is an advantage.
