Role Overview: You will be working as a BMC Helix developer with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Your primary responsibility will be to work on BMC Remedy ITSM and Helix platforms, including fresh implementations and migrations. You will also be involved in API-based integrations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Migration Execution: - Perform hands-on migration of data, workflows, and configurations from BMC Remedy to Helix. - Enable next-generation features like Helix Smart IT, Discovery, and Digital Workplace. - Fresh Implementation: - Deploy BMC Helix platform components and configure out-of-the-box and custom workflows for new implementations. - API Integrations: - Develop and test REST/SOAP APIs to integrate with third-party applications such as ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, and custom tools. - Testing & Validation: - Conduct thorough testing of migrated and newly implemented features. - Validate integrations to ensure seamless communication between Helix and other systems. - Documentation: - Maintain comprehensive documentation for migration, implementation, and integration activities. - Support: - Provide Level 3 support during and after migration/implementation phases. - Troubleshoot issues related to new configurations, integrations, and feature enhancements. Qualification Required: - Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of BMC Remedy ITSM and Helix platforms. - Proficiency in Discovery, CMDB, Helix GPT, Digital Workplace, and virtual agents. - Strong experience with API-based integrations (REST, SOAP) and third-party system connectivity. - Desired Skills: - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for hosting Helix, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of ITIL practices and automation tools. - Familiarity with enterprise tools such as EBS and other third-party applications. - Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Effective communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams. - Certifications (Preferred): - BMC Certified Professional (Remedy/Helix). - ITIL Foundation or higher certification. - Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes). - API and integration certifications (e.g., EBS, Postman, or other enterprise tools).
