Job Description

Designer BIW Structure & Closure CAD Design & Development

Design and develop complex components for assemblies in the primary structural framework, from concept to series production.
Interpret component designs with focus on functionality, manufacturability, and feasibility within the system.
Independently create components and joining techniques in CAD, considering requirements.

Main Hard Skills

Strong knowledge in developing doors and closures and basic structures (main body, front section, rear wagon).
Very good understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
Knowledge of tools and development processes used by common OEMs.

Main Soft Skills

Analytical thinking and quality awareness.
Good communication skills in English or German, with ability to work in teams and interact with customers.

Challenge

Independently coordinate scopes across interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.

Education

B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or Vehicle Engineering.

Software

CATIA V5/V6, standard OEM tools.
