1) BIW Design Engineer (Closures) Job description : Experience in Closure (Door, Tailgate & Hood) Design & Development at Automobile OEM around 6 to 10 years of experience. Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on BIW closure (Door, Tailgate & Hood) systems and their subsystem designs. Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on Door, Tailgate & Hood parts (Inner /Outer panel, Reinforcement, Hinges etc.) for Automotive Sector. At least one complete project execution of Door, Tailgate & Hood parts experience for passenger car project added advantage. Candidate should be experienced in Catia and PLM softwares like Team center. Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc. Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process. Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts/master section. Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage. Hand on experience in Part development/supplier interaction added advantage. 2) BIW Design Engineer (Under Body ) Job description : Experience in BIW under body Design & Development at Automobile OEM around 6 to 10 years of experience. Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on BIW and under body systems, Under body Design, Front & Rear Crash System & integration with body. Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on BIW under body parts (Floor Panel, Front end module etc.) for Automotive Sector. At least one complete project execution of BIW under body parts experience for passenger car project added advantage. Candidate should be experienced in Catia and PLM softwares like Team center. Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc. Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process. Ensure timely release of CAD models and 2D drawings with accurate GD&T and tolerance analysis. Perform technical feasibility checks with respect to material, manufacturing, packaging & product design aspects. Creation and understanding of master sections. Knowledge of BIW Joinery definitions and assembly sequence. Knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing & Assembly Process. Excellent understanding of Drawings, GD & T and BOM preparation. Hands on experience in CATIA application. Good knowledge of Teamcenter/PLM. Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc. Knowledge of BIW DVPs & Testing specification. Knowledge in Homologation & Crash standards.
