Job Description

Employment Type : Full Time, Permanent Working mode : Regular Notice Period : Immediate - 15 Days - BIOS/UEFI Development : Develop, customize, and optimize BIOS/UEFI firmware for x86 platforms. - Platform Bring-up : Work on platform bring-up activities, including BIOS configuration and debugging. - Coreboot and FSP : Experience with Coreboot and FSP codebases, understanding boot flows, and customization. - UEFI Framework : Knowledge of UEFI framework concepts and porting UEFI code to FSP. - Hardware and Processor Specifications : Analyze hardware and processor specifications to identify coreboot porting requirements. - Industry Standards : Understanding of industry standard protocols like PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, and SMM. - Version Control : Utilize Git for code management, reviews, and releases. - Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to address custom BIOS requirements. Required Skills and Experience : - 5+ years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI development. - Strong proficiency in C programming language. - In-depth understanding of x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated tools. - Experience with BIOS codebases (AMI, Insyde, Phoenix BIOS). - Knowledge of Coreboot and FSP. - Understanding of UEFI framework concepts. - Proficiency in using Git for version control. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
