Biology Teacher - Secondary

We are seeking a Secondary Teacher with expertise in teaching Biology to 8th, 9th, and 10th-grade students. As a Secondary Teacher, your primary responsibilities will revolve around lesson delivery, student administration, classroom functioning, and secondary administrative duties. In terms of lesson delivery, you will be expected to meticulously follow the prepared lesson plans, utilize the specified resources and activities, and employ effective pedagogical styles that cater to the diverse aptitudes, learning styles, and interests of the students. Creating a safe and productive learning environment where all students can thrive is paramount. Regarding student administration, you will need to uphold discipline in alignment with the school's rules and disciplinary systems. Encouraging maximum student participation and assisting students in enhancing their study habits are also key components of this role. In managing classroom functioning, you should strive to establish an engaging learning atmosphere through functional and visually appealing displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers. Additionally, maintaining a positive and professional relationship with parents by providing regular feedback is essential. As part of your secondary responsibilities involving administration and school policies, you will be responsible for compiling, maintaining, and safeguarding school records with utmost confidentiality. Adherence to all existing and newly introduced policies, active implementation of the same, and flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as requested by the coordinator are expected. Conducting quarterly stock checks of teaching aids, engaging in professional development activities, attending scheduled meetings, and fostering collaborations with resource persons are also integral aspects of this role.,
