Job Description

Functional responsibilities:

Hands on experience in preparing and analyzing samples on HPLC, LC-MS and GC/GC-MS including standardization of extraction/concentration protocols for the analytes. Method development/optimization is preferred.
Multistep enzymatic reaction set up and optimization at lab scale for high value molecules with flavor, fragrance & nutraceutical properties.
Responsible for routine protein estimation assays like Bradford and BCA method; glucose estimation by HPLC & DNS method.
Carry out enzyme assays and kinetics using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer.
Analysis, documentation, and reporting of experimental data and preparation of SOPs
Periodic maintenance and calibration of the analytical instruments.
Operating liquid handling system for high-throughput screening assays.
Secondary competence:
Ensure all the documentation work pertaining to project in the form of reports/ppts and compliances of the team. Training the team members on SOPs, analytical procedures, and data records etc.
Good analytical and reasoning skills.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
