BIM Modeler (VDC Co-ordinator)

Responsibilities :

• To work on the delivery of BIM projects.
• Preparation & management of model strategies, modelling methodologies & BEP documents
• Responsible for setting up projects to ensure accuracy, consistency, and organization of a team to begin with.
• Involve in Implementation/Adoption of BIM and guidelines for new/existing projects.
• BIM Protocols to be establishes for new initiatives.
• Implementation of cloud collaboration.
• Linking BIM to the project Construction, administration Phase for submittals, construction models, shop drawings and schedules
• Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies and stay informed on best practices for use of Revit and BIM software.
• Managing & assisting resources/teams to develop 3D models up to LOD 400
  

Coordination:

• Attending coordination meeting and design meetings for guideline follow-ups and model progress.
• Assist project teams in BIM project setup.
• Assist in project work - modeling and detailing.
  

• Develops ideas with clients. Establishes budgets.
• Assesses the users' needs of the buildings; considers the impact within the local environment.
• Produces detailed workings, drawings, and specifications.
• Works closely with contractors on site to ensure works are carried out following specific standards.
• Resolves issues during construction.
• Other duties as assigned.
