BIM Modeler - Mechanical

Role Overview: You will be responsible for proficiency in Piping Modeling and Piping Layout, specifically in Revit, Plant3D Software. Your role will involve providing BIM execution oversight, model management, and model QC support, while being familiar with Process Industry Piping codes and Standards. You should have knowledge and experience in routing pipes, pipe rack arrangements, vessel piping, and piping layout basics. Additionally, you will prepare Detail Drawings with minimal input from Engineering and have a strong understanding of pipe and fitting for Metal and Plastic Pipes. Experience in process piping design and the ability to utilize a P & ID to develop a constructible 3D model will be essential. Knowledge of Bentley Software Open Plant Modeler (OPM) will be advantageous. Good Communication Skills & proficiency in the English language are also required. Key Responsibilities: - Work within a multidisciplinary project team, taking instructions from team members and working under your own initiative. - Understand and apply the principles of Safety in Design. - Design drawings according to markups and specifications. - Translate hand drawings and sketches into BIM systems. - Read, evaluate, and interpret designs and drawings. - Create and implement work methodologies and strategies. - Document and update all drawings. - Deliver output to the required level of quality within the company's quality-assured delivery processes. Qualification Required: - Minimum bachelor's or diploma degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed university/institute. - Experience in Piping Engineering, specifically in design and layout in process industries. - Good team player with excellent communication ability, both verbal and written. - Excellent interpersonal skills in writing, speaking, listening, persuading, influencing, and collaborating. - Experience working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
