Job Summary

BIM Engineers and Senior BIM Engineers

Roles & Responsibilities:

BIM Planning & Implementation

• Develop, implement, and manage the

  BIM Execution Plan (BEP)

  , including:
• Establishing standard BIM processes and workflows
• Defining working procedures for BIM implementation
• BIM standardization and adoption of BIM-related solutions
• Setting up and managing

  Common Data Environment (CDE)

  platforms such as

  Autodesk BIM 360

  (where applicable)
• Defining roles and responsibilities of all project stakeholders
  

Model Quality & Audits

• Conduct

  quality checks and BIM model audits

  to ensure compliance with BIM standards, including

  LOD specifications

• Review consultant and contractor BIM models for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  

Design & Clash Coordination

• Perform

  design coordination

  using BIM models to identify discrepancies and coordinate with design consultants for resolution
• Execute

  clash detection and coordination

  using

  Autodesk Revit and Navisworks

  , including:
• Running clash tests
• Generating and maintaining clash logs
• Sharing reports with design consultants and stakeholders
• Organizing and chairing coordination meetings
• Proposing and discussing resolution strategies
• Re-checking updated models
• Ensuring submission of

  clash-free models

• Documenting clashes, resolutions, and final sign-offs
  

Data Extraction & Reporting

• Extract data from BIM models, including

  quantities, schedules, and material take-offs

• Prepare and submit:
• BIM work status reports
• Clash detection reports
• BIM presentations on a

  fortnightly basis

Collaboration & Communication

• Proactively collaborate with

  clients, BIM consultants, designers, and project teams

  regarding BIM deliverables
• Participate in and contribute to

  BIM progress and coordination meetings

• Review project documentation such as

  RFIs, discrepancy reports, and design changes

Drawing & Documentation Review

• Review drawings from contractors and consultants to ensure they are

  generated from clash-free BIM models

• Support designers and engineers on drawing presentation and site-related updates
• Review coordination shop drawings from contractors and vendors
  

4D & 5D BIM

• Generate and update

  4D (schedule)

  and

  5D (cost)

  BIM simulations on a

  monthly basis

  to track project progress and cost

Construction & As-Built Models

• Review and incorporate design changes during construction into the BIM model
• Perform clash coordination for updated models
• Review and validate

  as-built BIM models

  to ensure alignment with redline drawings

Training & Support

• Provide BIM platform and

  Data Exchange (DE)

  training and support to project teams
