BIM Engineer - Highway

As a Highways BIM Engineer at our consultancy firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of complex civil engineering and multidisciplinary BIM models for various transportation projects across India. Your work will involve producing intelligent 3D models, managing model quality, providing commercial input, and contributing to project design development. You will be based in Bhubaneswar and have the opportunity for career development within our growing portfolio of projects. **Responsibilities:** - Produce intelligent 3D models and extract information for various deliverables. - Manage Highways discipline 3D models, including clash detection and compliance with project standards. - Price up BIM tasks for bids and projects. - Assist in developing and implementing BIM strategies, workflows, and processes. - Contribute to project design development through internal coordination and design review sessions. - Manage the Structures Team Common Data Environment (CDE) and distribute digital documents. - Undertake 4D BIM Project timeline modeling. - Ensure compliance with company/project standards of deliverables. - Provide support and technical orientation to staff and trainees regarding BIM processes. - Maintain competency in major BIM software tools. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience as a BIM user and coordinator with some management experience. - Knowledge of BIM software tools. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Experience in producing 3D models and extracting information for deliverables. - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Details:** The company aims to offer a truly multi-disciplinary capability and bring exciting opportunities to influence major transportation projects from beginning to end.
