BIM Engineer Highway

As a Highways BIM Engineer at our consultancy firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of complex civil engineering and multidisciplinary BIM models for exciting transportation projects across various regions of India. Your expertise will directly influence major projects from start to finish, contributing to the transformational benefits of BIM in the Transportation Engineering industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce intelligent 3D models and extract information for various deliverables such as 2D drawings, schedules, quantities, and setting out. - Manage Highways discipline 3D models, ensuring quality, technical content, clash detection, and compliance with the BEP. - Offer commercial input by pricing BIM tasks for bids and projects. - Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement BIM strategies, workflows, and processes in alignment with Atkins Corporate Standards, Client requirements, and industry best practices. - Contribute to project design development through internal coordination, clash detection, and design review sessions, as well as external client presentations. - Manage the Structures Team Common Data Environment (CDE) and distribute coordinated digital documents to project teams. - Undertake 4D BIM Project timeline modeling and ensure compliance with company/project standards. - Provide support and training on BIM processes and workflows to staff, new hires, and student trainees. - Maintain a high level of competency in major BIM software tools. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience as a BIM user and coordinator with some management experience. - Strong knowledge of BIM software tools and processes. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Previous experience in transportation or civil engineering projects is advantageous.
