BIM Designer - Lighting

**Job Description:** As a REVIT Designer - Lighting at studioEVM, you will be responsible for BIM modeling, quality assurance/quality control, lighting design, team collaboration, documentation, and reporting. Your role will involve working on BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality BIM models for lighting projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - BIM Modelling: - Set up new Revit projects in BIM collaboration mode. - Work with BIM templates to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Set up families for custom fixtures meeting project specifications. - Manage and coordinate BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs projects accurately. - Collaborate with teams to integrate lighting designs into project models. - Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): - Oversee team members" BIM 360 work, conducting reviews for compliance. - Develop QA/QC protocols for high-quality BIM deliverables. - Lighting Design: - Participate in lighting project design from concept to detailed documentation. - Create accurate lighting models meeting industry standards. - Team Collaboration: - Work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders for seamless integration. - Provide guidance and training on BIM best practices and lighting design principles. - Documentation and Reporting: - Prepare comprehensive documentation for lighting designs. - Generate progress reports and present findings to project managers and clients. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in BIM engineering with a focus on lighting design. - Proficiency in BIM 360, Autodesk Docs, Revit, and AutoCAD. - Knowledge of lighting design principles and industry standards. - Experience with QA/QC processes in a BIM environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Availability for night shifts (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM).
