Specializing in lighting for art and architecture, we merge artistic creativity with technical expertise to deliver captivating visual experiences. Our practice has completed over 50 projects in various domains including workspaces, residences, hospitality, exhibitions, and landscapes. We collaborate with professionals from varied disciplines to provide cost-effective and tailored solutions, from schematic design through the construction phase. Our services include lighting specifications, drawings, shop drawing reviews, custom fixture details, mockups, and computer renderings.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Lighting Designer. The Lighting Designer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing lighting projects from initial concept through to completion. Daily tasks include collaborating with architects and interior designers, creating lighting plans, selecting appropriate fixtures, and ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and technical requirements. The Lighting Designer will also be involved in producing lighting specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and creating computer renderings.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Lighting Design, Architectural Lighting, and Interior Design skills
• Proficiency in Lighting Control systems and techniques
• Strong understanding of lighting and its application in various contexts
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely
• Experience with computer rendering software is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
