BIM Coordinator – MEP

Job Description

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Real Estate industry Demonstrated expertise in MEP systems and BIM coordination Proven track record of successfully managing structural design projects Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the coordination efforts for structural elements within BIM models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate MEP systems into overall BIM designs Review and analyze structural drawings and models to identify clashes and conflicts, providing timely resolutions Develop and maintain BIM standards and protocols specific to structural components Conduct clash detection tests and coordinate clash resolution meetings with stakeholders Provide guidance and training to junior team members on BIM software and processes Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology to enhance project delivery Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and codes related to structural design and BIM implementation Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field Additional certifications in BIM software tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD MEP Certification required: Certification in BIM Management or equivalent Behavioural Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Effective time management and organizational skills Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP) Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration within BIM models Experience with clash detection and coordination processes Non-Negotiable Skills: Expertise in BIM coordination with a focus on structural elements Demonstrated experience in managing MEP systems within BIM environments Ability to lead coordination efforts and resolve conflicts efficiently
