Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, customer-friendly Billing Staff member to manage the billing counter at our bakery and café. The ideal candidate will provide fast and accurate billing, maintain excellent customer service, manage cash responsibly, and support smooth day-to-day operations at the counter.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Cash Handling

• Handle the billing counter efficiently using POS / billing software.
• Generate accurate bills for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders.
• Manage cash, card payments, and UPI transactions responsibly.
• Maintain daily cash balance reports.

2. Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu items.
• Provide product information and answer basic customer queries.
• Ensure a positive customer experience at the counter.

3. Order Management

• Coordinate with kitchen staff for order preparation.
• Ensure orders are served or packed correctly and on time.
• Maintain order queue discipline during busy hours.

4. Inventory & Display Support

• Monitor front-display items and inform kitchen staff when stock is low.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area.
• Assist in restocking packaged items, drinks, and baked goods.

5. Hygiene & Safety

• Follow all café hygiene standards and food safety protocols.
• Keep billing area clean and sanitized at all times.

6. Additional Responsibilities

• Support staff with packing during rush hours.
• Report any customer feedback or operational issues to the manager.
• Ensure smooth closing and opening procedures for the counter.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cashiering, billing, or customer service preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS/billing software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle pressure during busy hours.
• Trustworthy and punctual.
• Minimum education: SSLC/Plus Two (preferred).

Work Schedule:

• 09AM to 8PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
