Billing Executive

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Manager to oversee our billing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a solid understanding of financial services and accounting software, as well as excellent analytical skills to support the financial health of our organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire billing cycle from invoice generation to payment collection.
• Ensure accuracy in billing by reviewing invoices and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accounts payable records and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage for data entry and financial reporting.
• Conduct regular analysis of billing data to identify trends and improve processes.
• Train and supervise billing staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Handle telemarketing efforts related to billing inquiries and client follow-ups.
• Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients regarding their accounts.

Skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting software is essential.
• Strong background in financial services with a focus on billing processes.
• Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounts payable functions and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
• Demonstrated ability in telemarketing and client communication.
