As an Estimation Engineer at TDC Chennai, West Mogappair Office, your primary responsibilities include: - Reviewing the drawings and specifications of the projects prepared by the design team, and creating the final detail or Bill of Quantities (BoQ) - Reviewing the Contract Documents to understand project requirements and specifications - Assisting in developing Job Budget based on the Contract activities - Understanding the Construction Civil system and Electrical load calculations for projects - Coordinating with Sub-Cons/Suppliers and conducting Techno-commercial analysis of materials - Identifying cost and time constraints, supply costs for individual elements, and labor requirements - Maintaining a civil cost database and negotiating with suppliers/vendors - Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, notifying clients of any changes, and completing project bids according to guidelines Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) - Proven work experience as a cost estimator with strong mathematical skills - Working knowledge of MS Office applications, advanced MS Excel skills, and familiarity with Candy Estimation Software - Advanced understanding of construction and engineering processes, ability to interpret blueprints - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and advanced analytical abilities Tech Develop Company offers benefits such as health insurance, leave encashment, and Provident Fund.
