Billing & Estimation Engineer

As a Sales and Production Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and review of documents for sales estimating purposes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing plans and specifications, preparing take-offs, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and contract specifications. You will also be tasked with generating price requests, pricing for variations, and establishing product rates for both labor and materials costs. In the production estimating aspect of the role, you will interpret construction documents, estimate material and labor quantities for residential projects, and create accurate bills of quantity to manage budgets effectively. Additionally, you will schedule projects to ensure timely site starts, investigate budget exceeding invoices, and maintain product rates while supporting the development of pricing models within existing systems. Your duties will also involve liaising with trade/contractors and regulatory authorities for approvals, as well as CAD designing and interpreting drawings and reports. Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and OneNote is required for this role. You will be expected to work full-time during morning shifts at the designated in-person work location.,
