Job Description Billing & Estimation Engineer (3+ Years Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing & Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the construction/real estate/infrastructure domain. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, client and subcontractor bills, rate analysis, and ensuring accurate financial tracking of projects. Key Responsibilities Estimation: - Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions. - Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, and machinery as per current market rates. - Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and assist in cost comparison for procurement. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and support management in budgeting. Billing: - Prepare and verify client bills (RA Bills, Final Bills) in line with contract conditions. - Check and certify subcontractor/vendor bills as per work progress. - Maintain accurate records of measurements, reconciliation, and certified quantities. - Coordinate with the site team for work measurement, progress tracking, and supporting documentation. Project Coordination & Documentation: - Support project managers with cash flow forecasts, cost control, and billing schedules. - Ensure compliance with contract terms, drawings, and specifications. - Prepare and submit MIS reports, work progress reports, and cost variance reports. - Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth billing and estimation processes.
