Job Description

• Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Billing Analyst to join our Finance & Operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining client trust, and supporting the financial health of our publishing operations.

• Key Responsibilities

• Generate and review invoices for journal publishing services, advertising, subscriptions, and other revenue streams.
• Ensure billing aligns with contractual terms and service delivery timelines.
• Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Sales incentive calculation
• Reconcile billing data.
• Collaborate with editorial, production, and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed records of billing activities and support audit processes.
• Assist in preparing monthly revenue reports and forecasts.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives in billing operations.

• Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting software, Microsoft Great Plains would be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in publishing or media industry is a plus.
