Job Title: Big Data Lead Experience Level 7+ years of experience in Big Data Key Responsibilities As a Big Data Lead, you will: Big Data Development: Drive development initiatives using Spark (batch and streaming) and Scala for large-scale data processing. Data Ecosystem Management: Work extensively with HDFS, Hive, and Impala to manage and process data. Automation & Scripting: Utilize Unix for scripting and integrate with scheduling tools like Autosys. Database Interaction: Interact with Oracle databases for data management. NoSQL Database Management: Leverage experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Mongo, or Couchbase. Methodology Adherence: Apply Agile methodologies in project execution (good to have). Cross-functional Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate within the team and potentially with banking domain experts. Mandatory Skills & Experience Technical Proficiency: Big Data Core: Strong expertise in Spark (batch and streaming) and Scala . Hadoop Ecosystem: Strong knowledge in HDFS, Hive, and Impala . Operating Systems: Knowledge on Unix . RDBMS: Experience with Oracle . Scheduling: Knowledge of Autosys . NoSQL Databases: Experience with NoSQL DBs (HBase/Mongo/Couchbase). Experience & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Big Data. Agile Methodology (Good to Have). Banking Expertise (Good to Have). Essential Professional Skills Strong Communication Skills .
