BI Consultant

As a Business Intelligence (BI) consultant at Infosys, your role involves collaborating with internal and client IT stakeholders to define processes and create detailed functional and technical design specifications based on requirements. You will actively work with the project team in various phases such as problem definition, fit-gap analysis, and solution development. Your responsibilities will include configuring and building IT systems, analyzing issues, diagnosing root causes, seeking clarifications, and identifying alternatives. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal and client IT stakeholders to define processes - Produce detailed functional and technical design specifications - Aid the project team in problem definition, fit-gap analysis, and solution development - Configure and build IT systems, analyze issues, diagnose root causes, and identify alternatives Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions using OBIEE and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC or OAS) - Overall 2 years of IT industry experience - Good knowledge of semantic modeling concepts and techniques - Work experience in complex report development and supporting large dashboards and business critical reports - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective communication and collaboration with team members across geographical locations Additional Details: - Hands-on experience with other reporting tools like BI Publisher, OTBI, Power BI, or Tableau preferred - Knowledge of ETL tools like ODI, Informatica, etc., is desirable - Awareness of the latest technologies and trends in the field of analytics - Experience and willingness to work in a management consulting environment that may require travel and/or relocation within the country Preferred Skills: - Technology: Business Intelligence - Reporting - Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c As a Business Intelligence (BI) consultant at Infosys, your role involves collaborating with internal and client IT stakeholders to define processes and create detailed functional and technical design specifications based on requirements.
