Position: Beauty & Wellness Trainer (Freelance)

Job Overview:

We seek motivated and skilled Beauty Trainers with 1-2 years of experience training students in beauty and wellness. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise in hair and makeup and be passionate about teaching and empowering individuals, particularly people from disadvantaged backgrounds, to build a career in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery:

- Conduct beauty and wellness training sessions, including practical and theoretical classes on hair care and makeup application.

- Ensure students gain comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in various beauty techniques, tools, and products.

- 2. Student Mentorship:

- Provide individual attention and guidance to students, helping them improve their skills and confidence.

- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

- Prepare students for certifications and job placements in the beauty industry.

3. Technical Expertise:

- Demonstrate proficiency in hair styling and treatments, and professional makeup techniques.

- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and products in the beauty and wellness industry.

4. Operational Support:

- Assist in managing training schedules and ensure the timely delivery of all training modules.

- Ensure a well-maintained and hygienic training environment, keeping all tools and products organised.

5. Collaboration and Reporting:

- Work closely with the training coordinator and other team members to ensure high-quality program delivery.

- Maintain records of student attendance, assessments, and certifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 1-2 years of experience as a beauty trainer in the beauty industry.

- Strong technical knowledge in hair and makeup.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching.

- Certification or diploma in beauty therapy, cosmetology, or a related field.

- Ability to mentor and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in beauty services.

Preferred:

- Experience working with disadvantaged communities or in social impact projects.

- Familiarity with the latest beauty trends and technologies.
