Job Description

Role:

Location:

3+ years of hands-on experience

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Strong expertise in
ABAP and JAVA systems
(mandatory).
Knowledge of additional applications such as
BOBJ BI, BODS, Content Server, OpenText, Convergent Charging
is a plus.
Basic understanding of
system copy and post-migration activities
.
Proficient in
HANA and Sybase (ASE)
; familiarity with
DB2, MSSQL
is desirable.
Client administration tasks:
client copy, deletion, creation
.
Upgrade activities:
kernel upgrade/downgrade
, patching of SAP ABAP and JAVA components.
Handling
Support Package Upgrades
for ABAP, JAVA, and Dual Stack on ASE and HANA DB using
SUM tool
.
User administration:
user creation, roles & profile maintenance (PFCG), password reset, user unlock
.
License administration for
ABAP/JAVA/HANA
.
TMS configuration and transport management
.
Creating and managing
RFC connections
between DEV, QAS, and PRD systems.
Implement technical changes using structured approaches to ensure
high reliability, availability, and performance
.
Monitor SAP systems:
work processes, users, system logs, short dumps
.
Analyze and troubleshoot
short dumps
effectively.
Ability to navigate
SAP Service Marketplace
, apply SAP Notes, and download required patches.
Hands-on experience with
SAP HEC tools
such as LVM, SPC, SISM, PASSVAULT, CAM, DED, TIC is an added advantage.
