KUP Coffee Roasters is an artisanal coffee bar dedicated to serving the finest single-origin coffee sourced from around the world. Our coffee is freshly prepared on the spot using high-quality, ethically sourced beans from 12 coffee estates. We aim to provide a unique coffee experience, offering barista recommendations to help customers select beans that best complement their palette.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai, which includes positions for Barista, Commis Chef, and CDP (Chef de Partie). The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and beverages, maintain cleanliness, and offer menu suggestions. The Commis Chef will assist in food preparation, ensure kitchen hygiene, and support the kitchen team. The CDP will oversee specific sections of the kitchen, manage food preparation, and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Barista skills, including making coffee and using coffee machines
• Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
• Customer Service skills to provide excellent customer experiences
• Food Preparation skills for roles like Commie Chef and CDP
• Previous experience in similar roles is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
