Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences. Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints or queries professionally. 2. Beverage Preparation Prepare coffee and espresso drinks (latte, cappuccino, macchiato, etc.) to standard recipes. Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment correctly. Customize beverages according to customer requests (milk alternatives, flavors, temperature, etc.). 3. Food Handling (if applicable) Prepare and serve light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or snacks. Follow food safety and hygiene standards. 4. Cleaning and Maintenance Keep the coffee station, machines, and seating area clean and organized. Wash utensils, restock ingredients, and maintain supply levels. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. 5. Cash Handling and POS Operation Operate the cash register and process cash, card, or mobile payments. Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. 6. Team Collaboration Work efficiently with other team members during peak and non-peak hours. Support team in maintaining a positive and productive environment. Skills and Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso machines (preferred) Previous experience in a café or hospitality role (optional but beneficial) Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
