The Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) for a Barista at My Coffee Co. should focus on delivering excellent beverages, creating memorable customer experiences, and maintaining smooth operations at the kiosk. Here’s a detailed list:

1. Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to the brand’s recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation, and quality of every order.
  • Stay updated on new recipes, techniques, and seasonal offerings.

2. Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment.
  • Provide recommendations and upsell beverages or food items based on customer preferences.
  • Handle customer complaints or special requests professionally and efficiently.

3. Cleanliness and Hygiene

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, equipment, and utensils.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations as per local laws and brand standards.
  • Conduct regular cleaning of coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.

4. Order Management

  • Take accurate customer orders and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  • Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
  • Handle any order adjustments with clarity and professionalism.

5. Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Report low inventory levels or any discrepancies to the kiosk manager.
  • Minimize wastage by following proper portion control guidelines.

6. Skill Development

  • Continuously improve barista skills, including latte art and advanced brewing techniques.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops organized by the company.
  • Stay informed about coffee trends and customer preferences.

7. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
  • Assist in training new baristas or support staff as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the kiosk manager about operational issues or feedback.

8. Customer Engagement

  • Encourage customers to participate in loyalty programs or promotions.
  • Build rapport with regular customers to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Represent My Coffee Co. positively through professionalism and enthusiasm.

9. Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform daily maintenance and minor troubleshooting of coffee machines and grinders.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or damages to the kiosk manager immediately.
  • Ensure all tools and machines are in good working condition.

10. Compliance

  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) outlined by the company.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding uniforms, punctuality, and customer interaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,821.65 - ₹25,834.05 per month
