Role Overview: As an Audit Manager at EY, you will play a crucial role in helping clients meet their reporting requirements by providing exceptional audit activities and offering meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. You will have the opportunity to lead and manage fieldwork on client sites, review work prepared by audit personnel, and identify areas for improvement in clients' business processes. Your expertise in primary accounting frameworks such as IFRS and Local GAAP, as well as your ability to apply methodology in compliance with International standards of Auditing (ISA), will be key in influencing clients and engagement teams towards impactful resolutions. Key Responsibilities: - Effectively manage the Audit process, considering audit risk issues and accounting technical matters - Lead and manage fieldwork on client sites, ensuring smooth delivery of the Audit process by liaising with other departments - Review work prepared by audit personnel for sign off by the Senior Manager or Partner - Apply a solution-based approach to problem-solving and demonstrate expertise in accounting frameworks and financial reporting matters - Identify areas for improvement in clients' business processes, make recommendations, and deliver the Management Letter to the client - Influence and shape the direction of activities internally and/or externally, organize your team efficiently, and provide coaching and training for junior profiles - Contribute to effective teamwork in internal engagement situations and provide on-the-job training for developing auditing skills Qualifications Required: - Masters in Accounts, ACA/CA/ACCA or an equivalent international qualification - Minimum of 2 years of experience at audit manager level - Significant experience in leading, planning, executing, and reporting on audits - Proven project management skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills - Thorough knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, as well as risk and quality management procedures - Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements Additional Company Details (if present): EY is dedicated to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet while fostering trust in capital markets.
